The introduction to the Lion King is powerful, but if you watch it with Samsung 3D glasses on a Samsung 3D TV the scene is simply breathtaking. “All Samsung 3D TVs can convert 2D to near-3D quality (Samsung).” One of my favorite parts is when one of the birds seems to come from behind you and then fly into the film. Amazing! Even though this movie is filmed in 2D, the characters don’t look like a pop-up story book, but rather actual rounded animals. They have a depth to them as they run towards the gathering of the new lion cub prince. I have it all set up in my showroom if anyone would like to give me a call and to come and see it for themselves.
One really nice thing is that the 3D glasses are now being sold in bundles and have gone down considerably in price. Another plus, is that more and more movies are actually being recorded in 3D making the picture much more realistic. Now the whole family can enjoy 3D effects in their own living room!
I recommend checking out: Avatar, How to Train Your Dragon, and The Lion King.
Enjoy!
